Luma apiculata Glanlean Gold

Syn. Myrtus luma

The species grows into a small evergreen tree to 6 m but this clone with variegated leaves is expected to grow to no more than a shrub of half that size.

Bears masses of white flowers with prominent stamens in Summer followed by black berries. These are reported to be edible but we have not found it particularly palatable.
